Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Systems Administrator

with

8+ years of hands-on experience

to manage, secure, and optimize our

on-premise, cloud, and SaaS infrastructure

. This role requires deep expertise in

Linux systems, networking, cloud platforms, containerization, enterprise email platforms, and cybersecurity best practices

. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the infrastructure lifecycle, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring

high availability, performance, and security

across all systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Systems

Manage and maintain

Linux servers (Ubuntu)

running

Odoo

across

on-premise infrastructure, Linode, and AWS EC2

Administer on-premise infrastructure including

servers, NAS systems, internal IT resources, and backups

Ensure system

availability, scalability, performance, and reliability

Cloud, Email & Backup Management

Manage and optimize

AWS EC2

and

Linode

environments Design and maintain

automated backup solutions using AWS S3

Perform regular

backup verification and disaster recovery testing

Administer

Microsoft 365 (Office 365)

and

Google Workspace (G Suite)

including: Domain and DNS configuration User lifecycle management (onboarding/offboarding) Mail flow, spam filtering, and security policies Email authentication and deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) Integration with identity and security systems

Networking & Security

Design, configure, and manage

networks, firewalls, access points, VLANs, VPNs, and routing

Implement and enforce

cybersecurity best practices

, including: Server hardening Patch and vulnerability management Access control and IAM Secure email and identity management (MFA, conditional access) Centralized logging and monitoring Incident detection and response Conduct

security audits and vulnerability assessments

Containers & Deployment

Support

Docker-based deployments

Manage

Portainer

for container lifecycle management Ensure

secure container configurations

, image versioning, and access controls

Applications & Platforms

Administer and secure

WordPress hosting environments

Manage

Odoo infrastructure

, including upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning Maintain and troubleshoot

ZKTeco biometric systems

Manage

MDM (Mobile Device Management)

platforms for corporate devices

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Support

Proactively monitor

infrastructure, applications, and email platforms

Diagnose and resolve

system, network, cloud, and security incidents

Lead

root-cause analysis

and implement long-term corrective actions Maintain clear

technical documentation and SOPs

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years

of experience in

Linux System Administration / Infrastructure Engineering

Strong hands-on experience with

Linux (Ubuntu)

Proven experience with

AWS (EC2, S3, IAM)

and

Linode

Hands-on administration of

Microsoft 365 (Office 365)

and

Google Workspace (G Suite)

Advanced knowledge of

networking, firewalls, and security architecture

Strong understanding of

email security, identity management, and access control

Experience with

Docker and Portainer

Solid knowledge of

cybersecurity principles and threat mitigation

Strong

troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED9,000.00 per month
