System Engineer / System Administrator - Storage Management

for Qatar location.

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support. Document end user support, network security, and server maintenance procedures for the maintenance of stable network operations and secure network environments. Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot issues related to storage systems, services, and associated hardware and software. Proactively review and monitor system logs identifying potential hardware/software issues and/or security violations. Perform operating system and/or hardware upgrades as required, following IT Department change management processes. Participate in the identification and testing of new solutions and services, following IT Department testing guidelines, industry standards, and best practices. Work with staff to research cost, supply, and performance standards for equipment, software, and vendors. Make technical recommendations for service enhancements. Test new hardware and software for integrity and usability. Participate in the disaster recovery program that involves business resumption and Emergency Operations Center activities, including planning, testing, and deployment of services associated with the operation of network systems. Maintain vendors, support agreements, licensing, and performs security audits as identified. Develop and manage systems level requirements, develop operational systems concepts, originating design concepts or performing systems level integration and test for highly complex systems. Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety. Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention. Conduct user management services Implement best practices Perform System Administration tasks such as handle physical disk management and system configurations. Perform Azure Management related activities and provide support services as needed

Preferred Certifications

- MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.

- CompTIA Server

- CompTIA Linux+

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,400.00 per month

storage systems: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
