Role: System Engineer
Location: Dubai
Job Type: Full-time
Preferred Experience: 6+ years
1. Design, implement, and maintain the organization\'s systems infrastructure, including Windows Server infrastructure, SQL servers, and IP telephony systems.
2. Monitor and maintain the availability and performance of the systems infrastructure to ensure a high level of service to end-users.
3. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam and other technologies.
4. Configure and manage Azure and Office 365 services, including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
5. Manage Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure, including storage, compute, and virtualization components.
6. Configure and manage Ivanti EPM for endpoint management, including patching, software distribution, and asset management.
7. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the systems infrastructure meets business requirements.
8. Develop and maintain documentation for the systems infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, configuration details, and support procedures.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in systems engineering, and provide recommendations for improvement.
10. Project Management: Participating in project planning and implementation, ensuring that system infrastructure requirements are met and system performance is optimized.
11. Automation: Developing and implementing automated processes to streamline system administration and maintenance tasks in both Azure and On-prem environments.
12. Experience in Nutanix is mandatory.
13. Certification: MCSA/MCSE
