Job Summary: Looking for a System Administrator in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Administer and maintain the organization\'s computer systems including servers, networks as well as associated hardware and software
• Install, configure and upgrade operating systems as well as software applications
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software and access controls, to protect the integrity and confidentiality of the company data
• Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to minimize the risk of data loss
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking and system issues when they arise
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems and assisting with the setup and configuration of computer systems
• Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely
• Conduct research and evaluate new hardware as well as software solutions to meet the organization\'s evolving needs
• Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly
• Configure and maintain the networked computer system

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role required
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and VPN technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
