Job Description
System Administrator
- 5-8 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching.
- Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocol.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs of the business.
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are an advantage.
- Experience in Healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management is desirable.
- Experience in managing and supporting servers, backup, and storage hardware.
- Experience in systems monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with planning, implementing, and improving system policies and configurations.
- Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
- Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
- Experience with both iOS and Windows operating systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant degree
