Data Warehousing Category System Administrator Location Jeddah, KSA Experience 4 years

• Templates Creation using SCVMM.
• Provisioning of new VM from template
• Patch assessment
• Configuring VMs, Configuring networks on VMs, and VLAN Tagging and Configuring devices on VMs
• Managing Virtual Machine Settings
• Allocating more memory, additional CPU, NIC
• Creating Virtual Machine Snapshots
• Snapshot management (Create, Manage, delete, Revert)
• Adding disks or disk space to VMs
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining the Linux/windows servers
• Support the requests and incidents and solve any problems related to the Linux/windows servers
• Responsible for maintaining the Linux/windows servers' network environment and connectivity
• Involved in setting up and configuring new systems, installing, and maintaining the application software
• Maintain and support the backup, replication, clustering, and fail-over services
• Work with the backup team for taking regular backup of data, creating new stored procedures, and listing backup
• Analysing all error logs and fixing them along with providing support for the application and development team on troubleshooting support incidents
• Analysing performance issues in the Linux/windows environment.
• Writing and modifying scripts for application deployments as well as system monitoring
• Enhance, maintain, and creating the tools for the Linux/windows environment and its users
• Detecting and solving the service problems ranging from disaster recovery to login problems
• Installing the necessary systems and security tools. Working with the Network engineer and other personnel/departments to analyze hardware requirements and makes acquiring recommendations
• Troubleshoot, when the problem occurs in the server
• Remain updated with the current knowledge in Linux/windows system and responsible for evaluating the hardware and software technologies.
• Maintain proper documentation of all the procedures, configurations, programs, etc
