Essential

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, computer science or related field is the minimum requirements for this position VMware and Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect and VMware certified Professional ITIL certified Minimum 7 years in Systems Administration role

Desirable:

MBA Project Management (Waterfall and Agile) Certification ISO27001

o 5+ years' experience of managing Systems Projects oProven experience in designing, implementing, and managing on prem based solutions.

Must have - Modules

In-depth knowledge of on prem services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and identity management. Strong understanding of on prem computing concepts, architectures, and deployment models. Experience with PowerShell, or other automation tools for managing on prem infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving skills

oExperience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions oKnowledge of GDPR and other international security related guidelines and regulations

Knowledge of PCI, ISO and UAE Security Regulations (Consumer and Data) Solid understanding of Information Security operations activities and security governance

Duties Operations:

Design, implement and operate virtualization infrastructure Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and events to identify potential issues and security threats Coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams and ensure timely resolution of all incidents Provide administration and support, ensure standard practices, install/configure/customize applications like IIS and other Microsoft and Vmware technologies Evaluate weaknesses in system related design and recommend changes based on international best practices Ensure the availability and constant update of Systems and underlying services inventory Assist in developing, implementing, testing and maintaining relevant disaster recovery plans Collect and review system related reports for capacity and planning purposes Managing and maintaining the following infrastructure:

oAll operating systems infrastructure (Windows and Linux).


oOperating system and infrastructure patching.


oEmail, anti-virus and anti-spam systems.


oServer hardware and storage systems


oMS SCCM/SCOM/inTunes (MDM/MAM)


oMS Office 365 Management (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive etc...)


oEndpoint security infrastructure such as AV/EDR/Email Filter


oProxy and Reverse Proxy systems.


oMicrosoft Domain infrastructure and file server infrastructure


oPrivate cloud infrastructure - VMware


oCall center infrastructure


oPerform backup and disaster recovery procedures

Duties

Monitor and troubleshoot issues while following downtime procedures Provide visibility on application health by defining dashboards, metric/log aggregation mechanisms Evaluate new technologies and share recommendations accordingly Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans and manage the overall threat and risk exposure of Azure setup to an acceptable level. All in compliance with the corporate security policy, legal, compliance or regulatory requirements making sure remediation of all reported security vulnerabilities are implemented within a pre-agreed timeframe Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership, highlighting key metrics, incidents, and trends. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on regular assessments.

Collaboration:

Manage infrastructure audits, vulnerability and threat assessments, and directing responses to concerned team members Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into overall business processes if needed Work closely with other IT teams to ensure a secure design and deployment of new technologies is in place * Help all employees to clearly understand why certain policies are in place, as well as helping to train them in information security
