Switchgear Purchasing Engineer
Job Description
1. Support Procurement Operations. Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders for switchgear and related electrical components, following company policies. Support sourcing and evaluation of suppliersaEUR"including obtaining, assessing, and comparing vendor quotations to assist senior buyers in selecting suitable suppliers. 2. Coordination & Communication. Work cross-functionally with internal teamsaEUR"engineering, project management, logisticsaEUR"to understand material specifications and delivery requirements. Follow up with suppliers to track delivery schedules, resolve delays or discrepancies, and ensure materials arrive on time. 3. Documentation & Recordkeeping. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of purchase requisitions, orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier communications. Assist in documentation for vendor performance, stock levels, and reporting on procurement metrics.
