Job Description
Masterminds, Dubai\xe2\x80\x99s leading early learning center, is recruiting for a Swimming and PE Teacher. Swimming is a core part of the curriculum at Masterminds with all children participating in swimming lessons 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 times per week. During cooler months, when swimming may be suspended, the teacher will be expected to lead PE lessons for the students. Experience working with young children below 6 years is important for this role. Our parents refer to us as the \xe2\x80\x9cHarvard of Preschools.\xe2\x80\x9d Masterminds staff are expected to follow high standards of personal achievement.

Essential Requirements
- Female candidates only (as per regulatory requirements for early years schools in Dubai)
- Spoken and Written Fluency in English
- At least 3 years\' experience in teaching Swimming
- Experience working with young children below 6 years of age
- Flexibility to customize the swimming program for students 1 - 6 years
- Open mindedness to learn new methodologies and activities as part of the Masterminds Physical Development Program
- Exceptional relationship and communication skills
- Essential to relate well to both children and adults and have strong communication and listening skills
- Team working, flexibility and adaptability with sensitivity to the needs of children are critical to the requirement of this role
- Highly organized
- Good problem solving skills
- Flexibility and creative thinking
Core Responsibilities
- Developing and planning a structured swimming program with clear progression milestones between 1 - 6 years
- Conducting small group and individual swimming lessons
- Conducting PE lessons during cooler months
- Participate in the annual professional development cycle and demonstrate continuous commitment as a life-long learner
