Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Swimming CoachFMALE AND MALE to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching swimming and sports, with experience working with students of various ages. This role involves instructing swimming techniques, promoting water safety, and fostering a positive learning environment. Prior experience in lifeguarding, sports coaching, or physical education is highly valued. The Swimming Coach will play a vital role in helping students develop their swimming skills while ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to skill levels Teach water safety and rescue techniques, emphasizing proper use of safety equipment Develop lesson plans that incorporate various swimming styles and drills Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance with pool regulations at all times Manage behavior and maintain discipline in the pool area to create a positive learning environment Assist with organizing swim meets, competitions, or special events as needed Collaborate with other staff members to promote health, fitness, and sports activities such as basketball, cheerleading, or martial arts classes

Qualifications

Prior experience in lifeguarding, sports coaching, or teaching physical education preferred Strong background in swimming, martial arts (Karate, Judo), or related sports such as basketball or cheerleading Experience working with children or students in an educational or recreational setting Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster discipline and motivation among students Certifications in lifeguarding or water safety are a plus but not mandatory; relevant training can be provided Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate learners of all ages Ability to work outdoors or in aquatic environments safely and responsibly Passion for promoting health, fitness, and water safety through engaging instruction
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR21.06 - QAR25.36 per hour
