Job Description

We are looking for a motivated

Software Tester Intern

to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This internship offers hands-on experience in manual testing, defect tracking, and ensuring software quality. You'll work alongside experienced QA engineers to test applications, report bugs, and contribute to the delivery of reliable software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Case Development & Execution:

Assist in creating and executing manual test cases based on requirements.
Learn to identify and document software defects.

Bug Tracking & Reporting:

Log and track issues using tools like

JIRA, Trello

Collaborate with developers to verify fixes.

Functional & Regression Testing:

Perform basic functional, UI, and regression testing.
Help ensure software meets design specifications.

Introduction to Test Automation

Gain exposure to automation tools like

Selenium, Postman

Assist in maintaining automated test scripts.

Documentation & Learning:

Document test results and assist in generating test reports.
Learn Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices.

Technical Support:

Provide initial technical assistance to end-users via various channels (email, chat, ticketing system) for common issues. Follow established troubleshooting steps and provide clear, basic solutions. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to mid-level or senior technical support/development teams, ensuring all relevant information is documented.

Qualifications:

Education:

Pursuing a degree in

Computer Science, IT, Engineering

, or related field.

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of

software testing concepts

(manual testing preferred). Familiarity with

SDLC

and

bug-tracking tools

Exposure to

SQL, APIs, or test automation
