This role will focus on identifying, selecting, incubating and realising commercial value from technology-led innovation for a leading bank.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in AI, ML, Cognitive Computing, Blockchain. Banking experience is not required, but advantageous. Industry experience in Telco / Consultancy will also be reviewed in the same light.
This position is SVP level, and a role that has been priortised by C-suite; to hire a subject-matter expert, supporting two core objectives
Grow revenues by accessing new segments/value pools through BIN sponsorship
Increase distribution of the banks products through embedded finance and banking-as-a-service offerings
Your primary role will be to set up the innovation framework and pipeline such that internal sponsors and stakeholders are aligned and subsequently manage the full lifecycle of innovation to launch for the agreed opportunities.
Other responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement innovative solutions by creating and launching cutting-edge products and services tailored to meet customer demands
Engage with external stakeholders, including partners and industry experts, to drive innovative initiatives through effective collaboration
Ensure all innovation activities adhere to regulatory requirements and guidelines, maintaining compliance
Establish and secure agreement on a comprehensive innovation management framework that covers focus areas, challenges, funnel management, and valuation methodologies
Lead the ideation process and frame opportunities, guiding them from conception through to business case submission
Oversee the development of innovation opportunities throughout the entire product lifecycle
Act as the primary representative of the bank's innovation efforts, managing interactions with partners, Fintechs, and regulators
Develop and execute the bank's overarching innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Salary: 55,000 - 65,000 AED p/month (tax-free) + bonus
