We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Environmental Sustainability professional to fulfil the role of Sustainability Senior Consultant, to support the growth of our Sustainability and Net Zero team. The individual in this position may be located in any of our offices in major cities across the UAE.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients from various sectors, whilst developing and delivering a broad range of sustainability services.

Accountabilities
- Work with clients to develop, deliver and assure Sustainability and Net Zero strategies across projects and programmes and throughout the asset lifecycle
- Support in developing and securing business opportunities with existing and new clients
- Develop internal relationships with infrastructure, real estate and natural resources sectors, liaising with Project Managers and Commission Leads on projects
- Embedding Sustainability principles into all aspects of project delivery
- Deliver work in line with client requirements and agreed proposal deliverables
- Work with Commission Leads and Sustainability Subject Matter Experts to write technical solutions to meet client requirements
- Support in effective and efficient project delivery to achieve performance targets and develop technical capabilities
- Provide input to client engagement activities and development of bids for service provision in line with our Sustainability and Net Zero capabilities.
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Turner & Townsend\xe2\x80\x99s Corporate Responsibility and Net Zero strategies.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Professionally qualified member of a recognised institution
- Sustainability certification accreditation desirable
- Experience of delivering Sustainability consultancy support for clients is essential, including the areas of energy and carbon (Net Zero Emissions), water, waste, circular economy, and biodiversity
- Experience of working in real estate and infrastructure (masterplan)
- Detailed knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability issues in region
- Experience and understanding of net zero roadmaps and strategies, including carbon assessment, monitoring and reporting
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams on major projects
- Experience of working throughout the lifecycle of major projects and programmes
- A detailed understanding of sustainability accreditation methods such as LEED, Estidama and WELL would be an advantage
- Awareness of global, national and regional issues, including the Climate and Biodiversity Emergency and Net Zero Emissions, experience discussing such issues with clients and stakeholders would be beneficial
- Attention to detail in service delivery, communications and ways of working with others
- Excellent communication including writing and presentation skills
