Job Purpose:

Responsible for the sustainability department Plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing MCV's sustainability strategy across all aspects of operations Will collaborate with various departments to: identify opportunities for improvement establish sustainability goals spearhead initiatives that align with the top management's commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility+ Make a significant impact in the automotive industry by leading sustainable practices that will shape a greener future

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's vision and values Identify key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues relevant to the automotive industry and develop action plans to address them Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into all areas of the business, including supply chain management, product development, manufacturing, and logistics Lead efforts to measure, track, and report sustainability metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and ensure transparency Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability, and incorporate them into the company's strategy and operations Drive employee engagement and awareness through training programs, workshops, and communication campaigns to foster a culture of sustainability Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry associations, to drive collaboration and advocate for sustainable practices Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop sustainability messaging and initiatives that enhance the company's reputation as a leader in sustainability Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct manager

Job Skills and Abilities:

- - Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies within the automotive or manufacturing industry

- - Strong understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and certifications, such as ISO14001, EPD, LCA, and carbon footprinting ISO14067

Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and experience in preparing sustainability reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, business administration, or a related field * Master's degree is preferable
