Our team helps companies navigate the accounting and financial reporting challenges of business combinations. As part of the team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll develop roadmaps of the driving economic objectives, determine the appropriate professionals needed, and consider financial reporting implications for deals. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for passionate and motivated individuals who want to be a part of building a new part of the practice and support PwC to be a market leader in the Energy, Sustainability and Resourcing (ESG) space.
Role Responsibilities
As a Deals Strategy & Operations Manager/Senior Manager focused within the ESG sector and more specifically on the Localization Agenda in the region, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing strategic and operational advice for our clients, with focus on pre-deal work
Supporting clients (private and public sector) in their localization efforts through value chain analysis, identification of investment opportunities and conduction of feasibility studies
Developing market assessment, commercial due diligence, business plan and corporate strategy for clients in the Industrials sector
Overseeing the successful delivery of projects, which may include multiple projects at a time, while leading a team of 3-4 consultants
Managing the client relationship on a day-to-day basis and other stakeholders
Managing project budget, reporting on project costs, and managing payment collection
Requirements
Manager: Relevant experience within the M&A space, preferably from a professional services background
Senior Manager: Extensive experience within the M&A space, preferably from a professional services background
Successful when leading teams and delivering projects through to completion
Solid understanding of overall M&A process
Proven experience of coaching junior team members
Keen to build collaborative working relationships at all levels, establishing credibility both, internally with senior management, and externally with our clients
Strong time management and organizing skills
Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
Confident communicator and can deliver messages with impact to a wide variety of audiences
Participated in conducting business plans
Completed market research for large size organizations
Keen to leverage technology enabled and digital tools to achieve efficient delivery for our clients
Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand key business drivers
Exposure to business development activities
Your flexibility to travel 40%-60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
