Sustainability Consultant - Green Building Certification - AECOM - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a Sustainability Consultant in Dubai, UAE to support green building certification and sustainability advisory services across major built environment projects. This role focuses on technical analysis, documentation, and coordination for LEED and other sustainability frameworks, contributing to climate resilient and low carbon development strategies in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery of sustainability and green building certification projects during design and construction phases
• Assist in developing certification strategies for LEED, Mostadam, Estidama, WELL, and similar rating systems
• Contribute to energy modelling, daylight analysis, and carbon performance assessments
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP documentation for sustainability compliance
• Prepare sustainability scorecards, reports, trackers, and submission documentation
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to gather required evidence
• Assist in responding to assessor and authority comments during certification processes
• Participate in design workshops and provide sustainability input to project teams
• Communicate sustainability requirements clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders

Ideal Profile

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting or green building certification
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, or related discipline
• Accredited professional certification such as LEED AP, Estidama PQP, or equivalent
• Good technical understanding of sustainable building design and performance analysis
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
