Sushi Station Dubai is a trendy and casual dining restaurant known for authentic yet innovative modern sushi and Japanese cuisine, offering great food at affordable prices in a friendly environment. We are hiring Sushi Head Chef :
Lead and manage the sushi kitchen, ensuring consistent quality and authentic presentation.
Develop and innovate sushi menu offerings to enhance customer experience
Train, mentor, and supervise sushi chefs and kitchen staff, fostering skill development
Maintain rigorous hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
Monitor inventory, manage costs, and coordinate with procurement for fresh seafood and ingredients
Collaborate with management to uphold brand reputation and operational efficiency
Drive a culture of excellence, creativity, and teamwork within the sushi kitchen
Requirements :
Minimum 3 to 8 years of professional experience as a Sushi Chef/maker
Proven expertise in sushi preparation with strong knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine
Experience working in high-volume, fine dining, or upscale restaurant environments
Strong management skills to lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff effectively
Ability to maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with international guidelines
Capability to manage inventory, control food costs, and coordinate procurement of fresh seafood and produce
Good communication skills in English (oral and written)
Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and maintain high standards consistently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,750.00 per month
