Charterhouse is working with an award-winning premium Japanese restaurant in Dubai, who is looking to hire a Sushi Chef to support their team.About the role
The Sushi Chef will report directly to the Head Sushi Chef. You will be responsible for consistently executing maki, nigiri and sashimi. Handling the full process from full fish through to plating.
You will be required to maintain the standards at all times, ensuring each and every dish served is consistently with the highest level of technical skill. The Sushi Chef will be experienced with the supporting flavours required for the dishes and have an understanding of food allergies.
About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have high level of technical skills in preparing sushi, this role is purely focused on sushi, with scope to develop further. The ideal candidate is a chef with 4- or 5-years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in sushi, with the technical skills to match.
Candidates will be required to participate in a technical test. Due to the urgency of the role, preference will be given to candidates in the UAE or the GCC. The salary level will be commensurate to experience and skill level and will also include tips and service charges.
