. This role plays a critical part in ensuring design accuracy, construction precision, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive
land, topographic, and boundary surveys
for site evaluation and design input.
Conduct
drone-based aerial surveys
for site progress mapping, 3D models, and volumetric assessments.
Carry out
utility detection surveys
using GPR and electromagnetic tools to locate underground services.
Execute
construction and interior layout surveys
, including
partition markings, MEP service points, and furniture layouts
.
Prepare and mark
accurate layout markings
on-site based on architectural and structural drawings.
Conduct
as-built surveys
and reconcile built conditions with design plans.
Generate and update detailed
CAD drawings
, including floor plans, section layouts, and survey outputs.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, site supervisors, and project managers for layout clarifications.
Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and ensure proper documentation of all surveying activities.
Ensure compliance with project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in
Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture
, or a related field.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in construction survey work, including interior layout marking.
Strong command over
AutoCAD, Civil 3D
, and survey data processing tools.
Proficient in handling
total stations, GNSS/GPS equipment, laser levels, drones
, and utility locators.
Ability to read and interpret
architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
.
Familiarity with
BIM, GIS
, and digital surveying platforms is an added advantage.
Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and site coordination capabilities.
Valid UAE driving license is preferred (if applicable).
