The Support Services Specialist (SSS) will manage, motivate and coach a team of Support Services staff to deliver an accurate, efficient and responsive, customer-oriented service while achieving department targets and objectives. You will be responsible for providing functional expertise and ensuring effective planning, deployment and oversight of a skilled operational team to drive consistency and quality in all dnata Airport Operations (dAO) Support Services activities. This role is based full time in our Dubai office.

In this role, you will:

- Work with Support Services Manager (SSM) to drive best practice across allocated functions as outlined in the department service catalogue, ensuring that standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs) are aligned with regulatory requirements, training and department practice.
- Understand customer account requirements, volume of demand and required service targets for Support Services offerings. Develop a delivery plan using these inputs.
- Lead and manage a team of support services staff in day-to-day functional support activities related to roster planning, leave management, training management, manpower planning, outsource management and time & attendance management.
- Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for Support Services related functions, contributing to projects, process reviews and essential problem solving as required.
- Manage and oversee the data collection and analysis processes within the team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, confidentiality and end-to-end data integrity.
- Establish improvement or development plans to support learning and enhance performance against individual and applicable departmental KPIs.
- Work with other Support Services Specialists to secure coverage for tasks where planned leave overlaps or where Support Services roster gaps occur due to unforeseen absence or sickness.
- Responsible for full account management of allocated dAO cost centres, liaising closely with the line managers / cost centre holders and accountable for managing service related enquiries, issues arising or department specific support requirements.
- Monitors the financial performance of your allocated team or concerned area against budgetary targets, ensuring adequate control of overtime spend for direct reports and sensible management of team leave and Time off in lieu (TOIL) balances.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

- Bachelors degree and 6-8 years of experience aviation/ Human Resources or
- Diploma and 8-10 years of experience in aviation / Human Resources / administration management or supervisory role in a Shared Service environment.

- Advanced Project planning and management skills
- Lean Process mapping and process improvement skills along with Statistical Process Control (SPC) skills
- Advanced verbal and written Communication Skills
- Advanced Safety Awareness Skills
- Expert knowledge of advanced Excel / Power BI skills for data analysis
- Proficient in writing work procedures and instructions
- Proficient in modern workplace tools including Power Pivot, Power Query and Power Automate skills
