Job Description

Qualifications & Certification:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Certification (MCSE/MCSA) in MS Windows 2012 or / 2016 or
equivalent certifications. Practical experience for 7 years in a government department in the United Arab Emirates. Assisting in providing support to the employees in order to solve their technical problems related to the computer or the electronic network
and its applications.
3- Assistance in solving practical and technical problems that may occur in computer hardware, software and applications
different uses in the ministry.
4- Assisting in the maintenance of all computers and all related electronic devices.
5- Work on a system to meet the needs of direct assistance from the office.
6- Carry out any other tasks assigned to him by the direct supervisor.
  • CompTIA A+ & N+ or equivalent.
  • ITIL Certification or equivalent.
  • Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent.
Skillset & Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of experience working with various core infrastructure systems
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support
Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Good understanding of computer systems, desktop applications, Printers, mobile
devices, workstations backup and other tech products.
  • Setup, configure and decommission computer hardware.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Basic server and network issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Operating Systems (Windows 10, 11, MAC OS) and standard Office Software
installation, troubleshooting &Support
  • Avaya IP Phones & call management system add, modify, move phone extensions
Support.
  • Mobile device support for Android and iOS devices (client software support).
  • Knowledge of Office 365 administration (Desktop Apps, SharePoint, OneDrive,
Teams, Exchange)
  • Diagnosing / Rectifying Virus attacks by using Anti-Virus Software Tools.
  • Troubleshooting of printer and printing issues.
  • Deployment, Installation, and implementation of Windows patches
  • Conferencing / Video meeting /Projector installation activities & support
