Support Engineer

to join our growing technical team in the Riyadh Region.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Infrastructure & Systems Management

Administer and maintain

Windows Server environments

, Active Directory, Group Policies, and File Server roles. Manage and optimize

virtualization platforms

such as VMware vSphere to ensure high availability and performance. Handle

shared storage systems

(SAN/NAS), including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Backup, Security & Compliance

Support and monitor daily backup operations using

Veeam

, including regular testing and restoration. Execute OS patching, server performance optimization, and security updates. Assist with

system hardening

and ensure configurations meet compliance requirements. Manage and renew

SSL certificates

, licenses, and inventory for essential software.

Systems Operations & User Support

Maintain core infrastructure services including

DNS, DHCP, print servers

, and patch management. Manage user account provisioning, access rights, and Group Policy documentation. Support collaboration platforms such as

Microsoft 365 and Exchange

, ensuring availability and proper access controls.

Deployment & Continuous Improvement

Coordinate application and server rollouts, upgrades, and service pack deployments. Conduct preventive maintenance on hardware and assist with system upgrades. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service availability.

Requirements

3+ years

of hands-on experience in system administration within mid?to?large enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of

Microsoft infrastructure services

(AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO). Solid experience with

VMware

and enterprise backup solutions (

Veeam preferred

). Familiarity with

system hardening practices

and compliance-driven configurations. Strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
