Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Tasks Summary and Responsibilities

. Manage a team of supply chain planners towards end-to-end supply chain responsibilities. . Identify performance issues and drive performance improvements with the team in order to reach agreed targets. . Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. . Suggest solutions for process improvements. . consider the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets. . Drive optimization projects to support the business and customer satisfaction. . Analyze and track customer order pattern as basis for SC configuration and optimization of customer interface.

Who we are looking for

Educational Degree : . University degree or equivalent education (Management Engineering preferable)

Professional Experience : . Minimum 8 years experience in supply chain optimization and planning in comparable environment, close to manufacturing operations, preferable Automotive. . Proven experience in organizational transformation, team leadership and team development. . Proven track record of supply chain improvements and related performance improvement results. . Wide range of planning experience (Capacity planning, supply planning, fine scheduling). . Working experience with supply chain planning systems and ERP systems (e.g. SAP). . Experience in the Automotive Sector within a global organization is an advantage.

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills : . Strong supply chain knowledge, also manufacturing background. . Knowledge in supply chain/ master planning and ERP systems. . Strong leadership and communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able to motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas. . Committed, entrepreneurial, proactive working attitude ("driver for change"). . Strong analytical and conceptual, problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach (80/20), decision making. . Solid in English both written and spoken. . Culturally sensitive in operational working environment. . Knowledge of Kinaxis system. . APICS certification preferred (CPIM is a plus, or CSCP).
