Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager, Middle East is a member of the Middle East and the Supply Chain Africa Middle East Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the Supply Chain strategies and operations for our Gulf Levant West Asia (GLWA), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Pakistan affiliates cross all BPUs. This role reports functionally to the AME Supply Chain Director with a legal reporting line to the General Manager Middle East. Working in a matrix structure with multiple stakeholders, the Supply Chain Manager will work with the Regional/Global team and Middle East Leadership Team to execute on Supply Chain strategies and initiatives.

Main Accountabilities
  • Participate in the development of the overall business strategy as member of the ME Leadership Team.
  • Define, drive & execute the Supply Chain strategy for Middle East to ensure the delivery of quality, cost and customer service objectives as well as digitalization.
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain processes from MU S&OP, demand planning, customer operations and SC customer collaboration, logistics, value added services, local quality assurance and regulatory affairs as well as supply chain development to identify optimization opportunities and influencing stakeholders to deliver best overall business outcomes.
  • Drive lighthouse projects in Supply Chain for Middle East.
  • Liaise with functional stakeholders to ensure effective matrix management of business-critical activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective supply chain and customer management relationships with key customers, suppliers and other partners.
  • Responsible for budgeting, project management and oversight of relevant departmental change programs to effectively define and deliver a continuous improvement agenda for own span of control.
  • Define organizational structure and capabilities within Middle East to achieve efficiency and business objectives.
  • Guide, coach, develop and engage our Supply Chain team with a strong \xe2\x80\x9cOne Team\xe2\x80\x9d mentality.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in supply chain management, Business or other related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain with proven experienced in end-to-end supply chain and value optimization.
  • Ideally experience in both demand planning and operating a logistics site and, specifically, related to safety management systems.
  • Experience and comfortable to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented and complex environment.
  • Experience in developing and leading high-performing teams in very competitive environments.
  • Strong relationship-builder and communicator who effectively connects with external and internal stakeholders on all hierarchy levels.
  • International experience and context. Comfortable in working cross functionally and cross countries and taking a meaningful role in driving the business strategy.
