Job Summary:



We are seeking a results-driven

Supply Chain Manager

with strong

demand planning expertise

to oversee the full supply chain cycle within a dynamic FMCG environment. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent product availability, aligning demand and supply, optimizing inventory levels, and leading end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, and warehousing. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of FMCG market dynamics and a data-driven approach to planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:



Demand Planning & Forecasting:



Lead the demand planning process using historical data, market insights, promotional activities, and sales trends to generate accurate forecasts. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align forecasts with business objectives and promotional campaigns. Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve demand planning tools, models, and KPIs.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:



Manage procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure product availability across channels. Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, shelf availability, and working capital. Minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence, particularly for short shelf-life products.

Process & Systems Management:



Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance responsiveness and efficiency. Leverage ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Demand Solutions) to streamline operations and reporting. Monitor and report on key metrics: forecast accuracy, OTIF (On Time In Full), inventory turnover, and cost-to-serve.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management:



Establish and manage strong relationships with key suppliers, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholders. Negotiate contracts, service levels, and performance standards. Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Leadership & Team Development:



Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement. Support cross-functional collaboration to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of progressive supply chain experience in the

FMCG

industry, with a focus on

demand planning

. Strong understanding of FMCG distribution models, seasonality, and promotional demand. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), demand planning tools, and Microsoft Excel/Power BI. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
