Supply Chain & Logistics Officer

Job Description

Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and conditions.
Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement.
Analyze supply chain data and generate reports for management to inform decision-making.
Implement and maintain safety and quality standards throughout the supply chain.Requirements:Proven experience as a Supply Chain & Logistics Officer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
