Job Location - Bahrain

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain for a beverage company. This includes managing the procurement, production, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution of alcoholic products. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. The manager will establish and lead day-to-day procurement and logistics business activities, in accordance with agreed upon policies, goals, and objectives. The role would require obtaining optimum efficiency and economy of operations. In addition, develop strategic short-term and long-term plans to cover operations, inventory maximization and logistics planning & performance.

Strategic Goals:

Assist in developing and provide inputs towards strategic goals for the complete supply chain management (procurement & logistics).

Assist in developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, transportation, and distribution.

Ensure short-term, mid-term and long-term goals in terms of setting up of operations (procurement & logistics), customer satisfaction and quality of service.

Inventory Management:

: Analyzing historical data and market trends to forecast demand.

Developing inventory plans to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing holding costs.

Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to align inventory with promotional activities and sales forecasts.

Establishing and maintaining optimal inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

Implementing inventory control systems and procedures to track inventory movement and accuracy.

Identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies and losses.

Optimizing inventory turnover and reducing obsolete stock.

: Utilizing and managing inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).

Supply Chain - Procurement:

Collect, identify, and analyze procurement data for the market to be served and define action plans for the complete end to end supply chain.

Define and develop the procurement & inventory related SOP's, process maps, manual and define operational end-to-end workflow and process for the team.

Develop the procurement & inventory related procurement documents such as TRAF, RFP, RFQ, RFI, Evaluation reports, scoring cards, letter of awards and contracts.

Supply Chain - Logistics:

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and customs for the transportation and storage of alcoholic beverages

Collect, identify, and analyze logistics data for the market to be served and define action plans for the complete end to end supply chain.

Define and develop the logistics SOP's, process maps, manual and define operational end-to-end workflow and process for the team.

Develop logistics related procurement documents such as TRAF, RFP, RFQ, RFI, Evaluation reports, scoring cards, letter of awards and contracts.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Experience

5+ years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably in the beverage industry

Pay: AED14,500.00 - AED17,500.00 per month
