About the Role

As a Finance Associate - TRAX, you will be responsible to undertake a variety of activities including but not limited to: organizing the vendor invoice process in TRAX system for payments and preparing reports to facilitate month end closing.


Other key responsibilities are:


Supplier invoice data entry into TRAX for further processing of supplier payments. Resolve issues pertaining to open, hold and authorized invoice status in TRAX of supplier invoices. Process invoices/payments as per Qatar Airways Orders / Contract in compliance with Financial policies. Ensure postings into the correct Financial General Ledger accounts for proper accounting and reporting purposes. Interact with Technical Supply Chain and Accounts Payable departments to resolve queries on discrepant invoices. Review of reports - Open, Hold, Authorized and Close status in order to reduce time lag which may result in delay of supplier payments. Validate and support Invoice verification, payment processing as per due date in order meet supplier payments terms as per contract Prepare financial daily/weekly/monthly reports along with all relevant documents for submission for payments / settlements. Provide required data and documentation in support of internal and external audits. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About You

Dynamic and competent candidate to join the Supply Chain must possess the following:


Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of job-related experience Relevant professional experience in an Airline industry Finance function. Experienced Oracle user or other ERP financials systems exposure. TRAX system exposure. Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Fluent in English language, both written and spoken. Requires the ability to learn and understand basic principles and techniques, acquire knowledge of topics related to the job and make independent judgments in absence of supervision. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Well-developed inter personal skills
