Job Description

- Managing demand planning and S&OP , as well as serve as a coordinator and support to the operations department with general documentation, shipping/ clearance documents, ERP and other supply chain related operations for a company involved in the tobacco industry. Supply Chain Communicate with suppliers for production, documentation, delivery and inquiries Identify product logistical flow from country of origin to country of destination, including freight, insurance, clearance and handling Work with freight forwards and transportation companies to find best route and rates Identify product customs clearance requirements as per market regulation and laws and document them Work with brokers and 3rd parties on products' custom clearance Follow up on each shipment's custom clearance and loading in warehouse Prepare all documents needed per shipment Demand Planning and S&OP 12 months rolling shipments plan based on sales forecast, DOI targets, and product lead times Manage S&OP cycle for Kuwait with relevant stakeholders Agree on Demand Plan Submit volumes to relevant stakeholders _ General_ Creating reports on activities and performances Identify potential risks and develop proposals to mitigate them Come up with cost-effective solutions for products transportation and logistics Properly archive all shipments and departmental documents for future reference Support the department with day-to-day tasks as necessary Coordinate with other departments as required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related educational background
• Certificates such as CPIM, PMP are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
• Experience in demand planning and S&OP.
• Experience in a supply chain, logistics or clearance company preferably in the gulf region
