We are currently recruiting for a Logistics and Supplychain Analyst for our trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Purpose:

We seek candidates who have the capability of making detailed observations and mapping existing processes, material flows, timings and data flows. Candidates should be capable of producing process maps and graphics to communicate to an audience, and inform, inspire and involve. We seek individuals who can apply industrial engineering skills and lean thinking to current processes and significantly improve efficiency and integration between stakeholders. We are aiming to reduce the activity footprint while allowing further growth and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the Senior Manager Logistics Baggage and Cargo and Head- Logistics Capacity Planning with the following tasks:
  • Map existing processes involving several stakeholders (Dubai Airports, Emirates, dnata, various Authorities such as Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Municipality, Ministry of Climate Change and Environment)
  • Observe processes on site, document and review existing process documents, transport routes as well as means of transport and storage, collect data and interview stakeholders to verify assumptions. Same applies to mapping existing IT systems, technology and data flow.
  • Provide support to the team in proposing time, space and cost savings as well as realizing efficiency and sustainability gains. Help translating this into Idea Briefs and Business Cases.
  • Ability to take onboard ideas from team members and translate these ideas into the generation of high-quality visual representations in both 2D and 3D in a range of output themes from rough sketches to detailed compositions as and where required.
  • Ability to take AutoCAD and GIS files and enhance/further develop the visual quality of image.
  • Proficient to an intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools to assist the team in periodic. administration and presentation of data.
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required or requested.
  • Review concepts and plans shared by other departments or external stakeholders. Highlight any concerns or improvement ideas to your team members. Assist to make, and enable, well informed design decisions on presentation & documents that will positively impact the system performance and Customer Experience.
  • Assist in the development of a data & information presentation strategy with the Sr. Manager and Head of CPL. This will include evaluating new technologies and preparing business concepts for how innovative technologies & techniques should be applied to the Logistics Baggage and Cargo Handling Systems.
