Job Description
The Company GLS International is a supply chain and logistics services company that forms part of a multi-national listed company. The business specializes in servicing retailers, distributors and logistics providers with outsourced services covering the full value chain. : We are seeking a highly analytical and moderately experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for data analysis, generating insights and formulating standardized rules for reporting in the logistics and supply chain field. This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to be based in the UAE. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights in the supply chain process
- Create reports and dashboards to visualize and communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities in the supply chain process
- Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance metrics to ensure compliance with company goals and objectives
- Continuously analyze and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain analytics
- Develop standardized rules and frameworks for reporting and analysis
- Industrial Engineering Degree
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, logistics, or related field
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and SQL
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- UAE-based or holds a valid UAE visa with prior experience working in the UAE
- Location: Dubai - Technopark (NIP)
