The Supply and Subcontracting Coordinator is responsible for identifying and sourcing materials, products, or services from local UAE suppliers, and reselling them to subcontractors or project partners at a profit. This role plays a critical part in supply chain efficiency, price negotiation, vendor selection, and business development, directly contributing to the company's revenue growth and margin improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and onboard reliable suppliers within the UAE market for materials, equipment, and services relevant to active projects.
Source subcontractors for various scopes of work and assess them for capability, pricing, quality, and compliance.
Negotiate competitive pricing and payment terms with suppliers to enable profitable resale.
Prepare and send quotations to subcontractors or internal departments, including applicable mark-ups.
Maintain updated records of supplier/subcontractor databases, purchase prices, and delivery lead times.
Coordinate order placement, delivery schedules, and ensure smooth logistics and fulfillment.
Track market trends and identify opportunities to introduce new products or services into the supply chain.
Develop and manage profit margins, ensuring commercial viability in all transactions.
Ensure all supplier and subcontractor engagements comply with company policies, legal, and quality standards.
Support the preparation of LPOs, invoices, and follow up on collections or payments as required.
