Partner with the best Baker Hughes, company has an opening for a Supplier Quality Specialist supporting Mechanical Systems. This position is responsible for evaluating the supply chain Suppliers and processes to determine root cause and effect of product non-conformities, improve processes to ensure quality products and services to adherence of industry and company quality standards. As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Being responsible for driving proactive risk reduction and quality improvements
• Modifying existing quality process & procedures and developing new process & procedures
• Facilitating Continuous Improvement Processes including PPAP, FMEA and FAI
• Managing Corrective Action Processes
• Facilitating and managing multiple projects and initiatives as assigned
• Participating in Supply Chain project management planning, execution and tracking of on-going production, new product release, supplier, and rework projects.
• Performing supplier reporting and analysis including inspection of product
• Conducting internal and external supplier audits
• Managing Supplier Improvement and Self Release projects
• Developing, implementing and managing Quality Control Plans both internally and externally

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Have 5+ years of experience in quality related field including manufacturing
• Have knowledge of Quality Management system as they apply to the oil and gas industries.
• Have previous experience working within an ISO 9001 / API Q1 environment
• Have Root Cause Analysis experience or training
