Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Heavy Vehicle Fleet Supervisor

to oversee and manage the operation, maintenance, and scheduling of our heavy vehicle fleet. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of vehicle safety standards, logistics, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the heavy vehicle fleet (trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.). Plan, assign, and monitor routes, drivers, and schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations. Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel, and maintenance. Ensure drivers comply with company policies, road safety laws, and transport regulations. Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams for smooth workflow. Train and mentor drivers/operators on safety practices and company procedures. Monitor costs and implement strategies to reduce fuel and maintenance expenses. Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, breakdowns, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Fleet Supervisor / Transport Supervisor, preferably with heavy vehicles. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in fleet management software and MS Office. Valid heavy vehicle driving license (preferred).
