Job Description

Operations Responsibilities

  • Attentive to customer needs through a friendly and courteous attitude
  • Assist in leading, mentoring, and training the Food & Beverage Operations team
  • Ensure all products are available and displayed at required times (in line with the display schedule)
  • Ensure that staff is conversant with product portions, prices, and codes
  • Ensure sales entries are correctly entered and receipts are issued to customers before the money is collected
  • Deliver a daily report of activities to manager
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained
  • Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal
  • Maintain good communication and provide support to service team
  • Standardize the setup and ensure stores are open on time
  • Improve performance by motivating and monitoring staff continuously while investigating and resolving complaints concerning food quality and services
  • Handle customer complaints and queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain records and prepare reports to your superior
  • Ensure the service staff are following the grooming standard
  • Ensure and participate in proper, correct order taking to speed-up the service
  • Ensure all the equipment are handled well and report to the store maintenance team in case of any default
  • Control the food waste and maintain records
  • Oversee store P&L, budget, orders
  • Maintain POS system records
  • Build strong relationship with internal and internal parties
Hygiene Standards
  • Maintain control of the food consumption of each restaurant
  • Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and the restaurant complies with health and safety regulation
Financial Responsibilities
  • Ensure alignment of procedures in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Assist in monitoring allocated budget to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues
  • Provide inputs on cost reduction measures
Human Capital Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
  • Apply and follow MAF Retail's Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions
  • Provide training and feedback to direct reportees when required
