Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Sales Boy cum Cashier to join our supermarket team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing product displays, handling billing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and properly arranged
Operate the POS system and handle billing transactions accurately
Process cash, card, and digital payments responsibly
Maintain store cleanliness and assist in stock management
Support inventory control and participate in regular stock checks
Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries efficiently
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supermarket or retail environment preferred
Basic knowledge of POS operations and cash handling
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Honest, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work in shifts and under minimal supervision
