Job Description

Bachelor's Degree or Relevant experience Job Responsibilities :

  • Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees
  • Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins
  • Pricing the items with Profit margin accordingly.
  • Implementing measures to avoid stock expiry, damages, theft, and wastage
  • Should check the stock expiry, plan accordingly to sale those stock before expiry. Supplier whoever takes back the expiry stock, need to return back to them.
  • Monitoring shelves stocks and price tag are arranged or not, bar code displayed for each item or not.
  • Product displays, and the general appearance of the store
  • Updating the items in the software, printing bar code and price for each item and cross check with the other stores, that they are updating or not.
  • The above point you need to cross check with the other stores, they are doing the same thing or not, if they are not doing, you need to guide them in doing.
  • Dust should not be there on the items, assign the work to employees to clean the dust on items.
  • Store need to be kept always clean
  • Managing the employees
  • Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers
  • Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints
  • Motivating employees to achieve targets.
  • Managing the employee's and explaining their roles and responsibilities to do work, supervise them for completing the work.
  • Training new staff members and scheduling shifts
  • In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Keeping records of daily expenditure and maintaining file.
  • Keeping records of daily material purchases, Supplier outstanding tracking and maintaining file.
  • Stock updation in the software, physical stock and system stock verification and keeping records. If any variation with physical stock for any reason, implement strict rules to not to repeat in future.
  • Daily keeping records of opening cash and closing cash in hand, there should not be any variation in the balances and maintaining the file
  • Above point need to be cross verify with other stores also, whether they are maintaining correctly the closing balance or not, or there is any mismatch
  • Competency in learning retail management software, because various retail software's available in the market, so need to understanding, study and learn the new software.
  • Improve profit and attain sales target of the supermarket
  • Assign and schedule tasks for specific employees and also follow up on the results they generate
  • Complete all the operational requirements of the store
  • Appraise, monitor, and plan tasks to be given to individual staff members
  • Discipline, counsel, and coach employees to maintain positive result generation
  • Initiate corrective actions, analyze variance, schedule expenditure, and prepare annual budget aside achieving other financial objectives of the organization
  • Recognize future and present requirements by customers
  • Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers
  • Collaborate with other members of staff that have good understanding about service requirements
  • Maintain inventories and approve contracts to ensure consistent availability of the required services and merchandise
  • Study trends, authorize clearance sales and also determine all required sales promotions
  • Review merchandising by formulating pricing policies
  • Identify profitability ratio by studying financial statements and operating statements
  • Study display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing merchandise in a profitable manner.
  • Manage Vendors lists and prices.
  • Obtain ideas to promote sales and increase profit.
  • Any other tasks given by management
  • Maintain the store and supermarket is organized and well condition
  • Need to handle three Supermarket Store and One Coffee Shop
Education :
  • Bachelor's Degree or Relevant experience
Experience :
  • Minimum 7 years related experience in the relevant field
Skills :
  • Proven successful experience as a Supermarket In charge
  • Powerful leading skills and business orientation
  • Customer management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills Neat, well-groomed appearance
Age Group :
  • 30-38
Work Location :
  • Oman - Muscat
Working Hours :
  • 12 hours per day
  • Weekends: one day off per week as per staff shift
Annul Leave : 45 days/ 2 years Medical :
  • Provided for chronic diseases and against accidents

  • English: Written, spoken, read
  • Arabic: spoken is preferable and plus point
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to RO250.000 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Muscat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
