Responsibilities

The main purpose of the Superintendent role is to oversee the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion (also known as packages), provide technical advice, and supervise site staff, manpower, and subcontractor activities on site to ensure that their packages are completed on time and within budget.


Manage and control his part of the site progress of the project in order to meet objectives Conduct the affairs of the team with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopt company values across all functions; provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely completion Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed Communicate with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution Maintain a daily written log of activities on the site Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites simultaneously Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and closure Review the approved shop drawings and specifications Meet the company's internal policies and procedures by being an active and dynamic team player Achieve the best productivity from the team and resources in order to meet targets on time and within budget Maintain good communication with other construction departments Inform the readiness for "Work Inspection Requests" to the Consultant/Engineer Maintain full awareness and implementation of the company's QHSE plan on site Report the required information to produce the Daily Report

Qualifications
10 years' experience in construction field Good skills in spoken and written English on top of his native language Technical Degree in Civil, /or Architecture A robust collaborator and team player Good written and oral communication skills Proven record in managing work safely Delivery-oriented attitude
