:Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our tax department as an intern. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in tax compliance, tax planning, and research, providing valuable insight into the field of taxation. The successful candidate will work closely with our tax professionals, assisting in various tax-related tasks and projects.Key Responsibilities: * Assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.

• Conduct tax research on various issues, including tax laws, regulations, rulings, and court cases.
• Support tax planning initiatives by analyzing tax implications and proposing tax-saving strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and other financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for tax compliance and reporting.
• Help identify areas for process improvement and efficiency within the tax department.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year (penultimate or final year, with a GPA \xe2\x89\xa53.0) of a bachelor\'s degree program in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field.
• Strong academic record with coursework in taxation, accounting, and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship experience in tax or accounting is preferred but not required.
