As a trusted partner to companies, boards of directors, investors, lenders and creditors around the world, the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment is focused on delivering restructuring, tax advisory and valuations. Committed to our clients' success, our award-winning professionals address the full spectrum of financial, operational and transactional risks and opportunities across diverse industries. Included among our core strengths is providing expertise in guiding companies through the value-creation life cycle.
FTI Consulting expanded its practice offering in the Middle East region by introducing a dedicated Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice, providing solutions to a wide range of stakeholders in the banking, private equity, sovereign wealth, and corporate sectors in acquisitions and disposals as well as stressed and distressed situations across the Middle East.

What You Will Do
As a Summer Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Conducting research and analysis to support client engagements and internal projects
• Assisting with the preparation of new business proposals
• Summarizing key information and performing analytical reviews
• Attending internal and external meetings and drafting clear, concise meeting minutes
• Supporting on ongoing project work, including:

• Preparing data books and financial models using Excel
• Analyzing financial and operational data, and discussing insights with the team
• Assisting in the preparation of client reports and deliverables using PowerPoint
• Participating in internal training sessions and completing relevant eLearning modules to enhance your technical and professional skills

How You Will Grow
Our Dubai-based internship will provide you with the opportunity to work in one of our practices, including Restructuring, Valuations and Tax advisory. You will be immersed in a fast-paced learning environment, where your development will be supported as much by colleagues and senior members of your team.
Throughout the internship, you will be supported by your performance coach and a buddy who can support and guide you through your career goals and development.

What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications:

• A penultimate year student studying at university and due to graduate in 2027
• Must be available to conduct an 8-week internship from June through to August

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• A strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability, commitment and a willingness to learn
• Creative thinking and the ability to think outside the box
• Proactivity and confidence to volunteer for a task without being asked
• Able to think on your feet, also in fast-paced and high-pressure situations

Has a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
