Project based in Syria (deployment in Aleppo, Idlib, and Damascus areas). Work will be primarily site-based inside Syria. Field-based at 66-400 kV substation construction sites
Responsibilities
Supervise installation of primary and secondary substation equipment, busbars, cabling, and earthing systems.
Review as-built drawings and ensure installations match approved designs.
Witness testing, commissioning, and protection relay settings.
Coordinate with control, civil, and OHS teams to maintain quality and safety.
Report progress, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
Qualifications (RFP requirements)
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering

10 years' experience
, including
7 years
on substation construction or supervision (? 132 kV).
Strong knowledge of IEC standards and protection/SCADA interfaces.
Prior work on IFI-funded or large-utility projects desirable.
Arabic fluency essential; English proficiency an asset.
