Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for carrying out subsea pipeline engineering activities, including mechanical design, specification development, pipeline analysis.

TASKS:
  • Providing design and engineering of subsea pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications;
  • Conducting comprehensive analysis, including stress and structural integrity assessments, to optimize pipeline design;
  • Collaborating with materials engineers to select suitable materials for subsea pipelines, considering corrosion resistance, integrity, and environmental factors;
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements;
  • Managing and coordinating subsea pipeline projects from conceptual design through construction and commissioning;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, geotechnical engineers, and contractors, to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget;
  • Conducting risk assessments related to subsea pipeline projects, identifying potential challenges and proposing effective mitigation strategies;
  • Implementing contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances during project execution;
  • Staying posted about industry regulations and standards related to subsea pipelines;
  • Ensuring that all subsea pipeline projects comply with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication and successful project outcomes;
  • Providing regular updates and reports on project progress.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum Education BSc/BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering; MSc/MTech Degree is an advantage;
  • Minimum Experience 8+ years in the industry (Offshore Oil & Gas facilities, drilling rigs, Shipyard) with a focus during the fabrication phase;
  • Saudi Aramco standards experience is required;
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines;
  • Good awareness of contractual requirements and project financials;
  • Knowledge international codes and standards.

  • Location: Hamriyah, UAE;
  • Contract duration: Long-term;
  • Working schedule: 9 hours x 5 days;
  • Starting date: February 2024.
