Title:Subsea Engineering Manager - Offshore

Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of Engineers and Consultants / Subcontractors while ensuring the successful execution of the Engineering Phase of the project and driving continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing the Engineering Development carried out by local and overseas offices and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the implementation of engineering strategies, plans, key milestones, and processes to ensure the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing coaching and feedback, and promoting a culture of teamwork Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team, setting clear goals and expectations, and motivating team members to achieve their best Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore value engineering initiatives, methodologies, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, central engineering, HSE, and quality assurance Leverage technical expertise to guide the engineering team in solving complex problems Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, and external partners, to understand their needs and requirements, and keep them informed of project progress Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and needs Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external including executives, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project delivery Develop and manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and staffing needs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, and maintaining a high level of productivity Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and engineering best practices, promoting efficient and effective project execution Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in engineering practices, and provide recommendations for their integration into the project and organization Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, with a minimum of 20+ years of experience in managing engineering teams across multiple office locations Strong background and experience in Project Management roles of EPC Projects, both in Onshore and Offshore fields of the Energy Sector Demonstrated deep understanding of engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices Demonstrated capabilities in delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget Demonstrated excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving a common goal Proven abilities in problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions Strong written and oral capabilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across a range of participants Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience with agile methodologies, project management tools, and processes Strong business acumen and result-driven mindset
