The Position

Roche Diagnostics Morocco offers a comprehensive diagnostic solution to its customers, aimed at providing support across all stages of patient care. Our range includes diverse systems, reagents, digital solutions, and associated services. Among these offerings, our Water Station is part of our diagnostic solutions.

However, the upkeep of our water stations within our instrument park presents challenges, requiring substantial consumables such as resins and filters, as well as significant travel commitments. In light of this, our objective is to explore innovative approaches to streamline maintenance processes, thereby reducing consumable usage and greenhouse gas emissions associated with travel.

To achieve this goal, we aim to implement remote servicing for water stations, enabling proactive maintenance strategies. By leveraging technology and remote monitoring capabilities, we seek to optimize efficiency, minimize travel and consumable usage, and decrease our environmental footprint while ensuring uninterrupted service for our customers

This internship position is located in Morocco, Casablanca, on site.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive plan on how to monitor the water stations remotely. You will have to think about:

Installing an electronic card, microcontroller to collect the indicators as water conductivity; notifications; alarms

Installing a network card and connect the water station to roche instruments network;

Remotely manage the status of the water station through the remote service tools of Roche.

Configure the appropriate solution based on the comprehensive plan Implement the solution on three sites, Test and Knowledge transfer

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor's studies at a university, preferably in the field of electrical / electronics within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore you are

A self-starter who stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in the technology

A team player who builds strong relationships, collaborates well with others, and has strong interpersonal skills to achieve shared goals.

Entrepreneurial mindset

Software development skills will be a plus

Fluent in English, able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders both locally and internationally.
