Job Overview To carry out maintenance, repair, modifications and alterations to customer or company owned, leased or operated aircraft. Main Responsibilities Ensure that aircraft Structural Maintenance is performed to the highest standards and at all times in compliance with applicable Manufacturer and OEM approved data. Ensure that Sheet metal repairs, Modifications and Alterations to company aircraft in accordance with approved data. Responsibility to carry out all sealing & paint restoration and aircraft exterior repairs on a weekly basis as directed by the Duty LMM. Provide Line Maintenance support & support the line operation during day to day turnarounds and departures. Ensure that all line maintenance areas are kept in a neat and orderly manner at all times, this role will have overall responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the Sheet Metal Shop. This includes the monitoring of Stock levels and reorder levels. Shall ensure that safety precautions and safe practices are adhered to at all times. Will assume responsibility to ensure that the Sheet Metal Shop is maintained in a compliant manner and all tooling & materials held are controlled. Report to the Line maintenance engineer or Line Manager any unserviceable or unsafe ground support or maintenance tools and equipment.. Attend training courses as directed by company Management. Attend AOG Aircraft recovery events downroute when required to support the operation. Will make himself available on days off should a Sheet Metal AOG event occur to support the operation. Be responsible for requisitioning of parts from stores, assuring serviceability of parts, completion of appropriate tags, return of parts from stores, assuring that required forms and documents are properly completed. Will perform any other duties as directed by the Line maintenance engineer, Line Manager or Maintenance Manager. Must be able to analyse and troubleshoot aircraft systems and engines utilising knowledge learnt from individual aircraft type courses, maintenance manuals and references, and experience gained from "hands on" practical OJT. Must be able to make timely and appropriate decisions based on problem solving ability and experience. Remains objective and co-ordinates with relevant departments, even when under pressure, to make a calculated decision with considerations given to safe 'on time performance' of the company fleet. Must be able to prioritise work requirements based on fleet arrivals, departures and scheduled maintenance. Monitor progress throughout shift, anticipate problems and adjust work or schedule to ensure optimum serviceability at all times. Including flying technical support when called upon.

Education & Experience Qualifications Minimum 10 years aircraft maintenance experience extensively working structures and composites Must hold an EASA, FAA or ICAO Type 2 aircraft engineers license Must be able to communicate assertively, effectively and diplomatically with flight crew, flight dispatchers, ground handling personnel and senior management, as required. Fluent in written and spoken English, enough to communicate at all levels in required Technical terms.
