Structured Trade Finance Lead - SME & Corporate Lending
DP World is looking for a senior professional to lead structured trade finance initiatives through its DFSA-regulated entity, DP World Financial Services Limited. The role is based in Dubai and focuses on originating and executing complex trade finance solutions for mid to large-sized corporates across target markets, including syndication and risk participation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead origination, structuring, and execution of large, complex trade finance deals with mid- to large-sized corporates across the GCC and DP World's target markets
• Collaborate with internal origination teams to build a robust pipeline of trade finance assets and recurring fee-based income
• Ensure all deals comply with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and commercial return thresholds
• Establish and manage relationships with commercial banks, ECAs, insurers, trade credit funds, and development institutions for risk participation and syndication
• Create and present transaction teasers, deal structures, and investor term sheets to secure external participation
• Ensure structured deals are documented and closed in compliance with internal operations and risk frameworks
• Train and enable sales and origination teams across geographies to effectively position new trade finance products
• Serve as a brand ambassador for DP World, upholding corporate values and governance in every engagement
• Engage in continuous improvement of structuring methods, reporting, and internal collaboration models

Requirements
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business; an MBA or equivalent is preferred
• 15+ years of experience in trade finance, structured lending, or commercial banking
• Deep understanding of international trade finance instruments and risk mitigation techniques
• Proven track record in high-value deal execution and investor syndication

Skills:

• Strong strategic thinking and financial structuring abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an agile and adaptive leadership approach
• Experience coordinating with Credit, Risk, Compliance, and Legal departments
• Familiarity with logistics and freight markets is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally as business requires
