Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit due diligence on trade finance borrowers, assessing management, financial, industry, and business risks
• Evaluate structured credit solutions, lending parameters, and appropriate risk mitigants across complex corporate portfolios
• Identify credit and operational risks within trade finance documentation covering receivables and payables financing, import and export financing, invoice discounting and factoring, commodity trade financing, inventory financing, buy-sell transactions, and risk participation
• Analyze financial statements, monitor early warning indicators, and support effective collections strategies
• Ensure full compliance with DP World credit policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Proactively manage portfolio risk exposure, including remediation and recoveries, to prevent unexpected credit losses
• Identify key risks and drive alignment on mitigation actions with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with external service providers such as risk consultants, recovery agents, insurers, and brokers
• Support transaction structuring by providing credit risk input and innovative solutions aligned with regulatory and internal requirements
• Promote DP World values, code of conduct, safety standards, and ethical practices in all professional activities
• Perform additional duties related to credit risk management as assigned

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree from a recognized university
• Minimum twelve years of experience in structured credit or trade finance risk management for large corporates
• Previous experience within banks, fintech firms, or non-banking financial companies
• Strong expertise in trade finance credit risk, cross-border transactions, and associated risk implications
• Proven ability to assess, mitigate, and manage complex credit risks under pressure
