Job Description

To oversee the daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves supervising a team of workers, coordinating workflow, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Supervision and Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of fabricators, welders, and other production staff. Assign tasks and ensure efficient workflow. Provide training and development to team members. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Production Management:

Oversee the fabrication process from start to finish. Ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. Monitor production metrics and report on performance.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize technical knowledge to assist in complex fabrication tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during production.

Equipment Management:

Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working order. Coordinate repairs and maintenance of equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. Minimum of [5] years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
