Be familiar with the project's contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, together with any associated updates or revisions.
Ensure the contractor's compliance with the standards, specifications, and requirements of the contract documents.
Maintain daily records of the contractor's manpower, equipment, and resources deployed on site.
Undertake site supervision and inspections as required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Liaise daily with the contractor to ensure proper management of site resources, health and safety, and progress of works.
Prepare daily inspection and progress reports for submission to the RE or ARE, including details of work orders, materials deliveries, and inspection programs.
Implement and follow up on site instructions issued by the RE or ARE.
Apply quality control procedures and ensure all works are carried out as per the approved Quality Management System (QMS) and project-specific quality plans.
Assist in site measurements and survey checks for utilities, alignments, levels, and other infrastructure components as directed by the RE or ARE.
Coordinate and cooperate with the Client's Project Manager or representatives during site inspections in the presence of the RE or ARE.
Monitor and record contractor QA/QC activities, including materials testing, workmanship, and inspection records.
Assist the RE and ARE in the preparation of correspondences, reports, and other project documentation in compliance with contract requirements.
Identify and report site issues promptly and coordinate with the RE or ARE to implement corrective actions.
Monitor and verify start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover activities, ensuring all records and documentation are properly maintained.
Maintain complete records of materials test results, inspections, and executed works for project closeout and handover.
Conduct audit inspections to verify conformity with contract documents, approved shop drawings, method statements, and contractor quality plans.
Ensure that all works comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, DEWA, and other local authority standards and regulations.
Promote and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site
