Job Description

We are looking for Foreman - Structure & Equipment. He is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of crews involved in the erection of steel structures and the installation of mechanical equipment. The role ensures all structural and equipment installation activities are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead crews in the installation of steel structures, platforms, supports, and heavy mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines, tanks). Read and interpret structural and mechanical drawings, equipment layout plans, and installation procedures. Plan daily work activities and allocate resources (labor, tools, equipment). Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure work alignment and sequencing. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety policies and site regulations. Inspect ongoing work to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and tolerances. Manage and track materials, tools, and equipment on site. Assist in rigging and lifting operations for equipment installation. Maintain accurate records of work progress, personnel time, and job site issues. Participate in toolbox talks and enforce safety procedures among crew. Identify and address any technical or personnel issues affecting productivity. Report progress and issues to the Site Manager or Project Engineer.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or technical certification in construction, mechanical, or structural disciplines. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in structural and mechanical equipment installation, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of structural steel erection methods, mechanical equipment alignment, and foundation work. Familiarity with cranes, rigging, hoisting, and heavy lifting procedures. Ability to read structural, mechanical, and layout drawings. Good leadership, team management, and communication skills. Strong focus on safety and quality control. Basic computer and reporting skills (MS Excel, daily reporting, etc.).
